Selmer MkVII tenor sax manufactured in 1978, freshly overhauled in my shop. A fantastic instrument with the typical full, core Selmer sound and plenty of projection. Only been played in the same family, by the 1st owner and then his son. Original lacquer at about 80%. No resolders and no major dents (only 1 small ping on the bottom bow). There was a very slight neck pulldown and a small dent under the low Eb/C post, all were repaired during the overhaul.
Our overhauls include: full cleaning with soap and our ultrasonic cleaner, sealing of the bow joint, swedging and refit of all keys and posts to remove all mechanical play, level toneholes and key cups, neck refit to be airtight, remplace all adjustment materials and pads (with plastic resos), full setup, balancing of key heights and spring tension. It plays to it's full potential and needs nothing!
Comes with the original case and end plug.
