Here’s an Atlas Sound microphone stand boom counterweight. It balances out the microphone that you have at the other end of the boom.
It’s made of iron, and designed for 5/8” booms. It’s in good shape. The original thumbscrew got bent sometime, and while it is still functional, I’ve been using it with a normal slot-head screw. If you want to replace it with a new thumbscrew, it has a 6-24 thread, and many hardware stores carry them. I’ll include the original thumbscrew as well.
It weighs 1 lb. 6 oz. If you've been looking for one of these to complete an older stand, you've finally found it!
