Gretsch Gretsch Drums, 1979-80 Vintage Blond Jasper Maple Shells - $5,500 (Homewood) 1979-80 - Natural Maple

This is a super nice second owner original condition Vintage 1979-80 Gretsch drum set in Natural Maple.   Jasper Shells. 

This is a rare find, matching set, sequential numbers for the 5 main pieces.  The serial numbers on the 8” and 10” toms are within 100 of the main kit.  Finish is factory high gloss.  There is no cdtacking, chipping or damage. A bit of hoop rash  on the bass.  Some mono clear cut etching on the top edge of the 13 inch tom, but it’s very minimal.  

 Sizes: 8X12, 9X13, 16X16, 14X22, 5X14 Matching ten lug snare with Lightning throw-off.  

Each shell is near mont along with all bearing edges, badges and interiors.  All hardware is original, in working order, stock factory correct dright down to every tendon rod and washer.  No cracks, repairs or worn parts.

I treated the shells with Watco Wood Rejuvenator periodically and the drums never left the house.  The drums hav eat original paper tags with serial numbers, some orange/white, some silver/white.

The kit is set up for a lefty, so don’t trip.  Some pictures show a Black Beauty snare.  This deal is for the Blonde Maple wood snare with consecutive serial numbers.  Soft cases for all shells included.  

The concert toms were drilled for the Pearl mounts by the previous owner.  Double Brace Stand and hardware included.
