This Dark Glass Microtubes 900 (V1) is owned by Matt Freeman of Rancid.
"I used this for live shows with my band Charger. It has a great bass distortion circuit. I also used it with my upright bass. With the EQ I was able to really dial in a tone."
The Microtubes 900 is Dark Glass' flagship bass preamp and DI, known for its versatile tube emulated distortion and powerful onboard EQ, giving players a huge range of tones from subtle warmth to full on grit. This V1 unit still has tape markings by all the knobs, showing Matt's own dialed in settings, so you can get a real sense of how he shaped his tone straight from the source.
