I'm the original owner of these great vintage speakers.

Local Pickup in Orange Co. California 92867 ONLY.

The photos are not my of my speakers, but are very close to the condition of mine.

I'll upload photos of the actual speakers when I can get them pulled out from the corners!

The woofer surrounds have both been refoamed several years back by OC speaker that used to be in southern California.

The veneer shows some signs of darkening which can be seen when the covers are removed. The wood under the covers is a bit lighter, but not a huge difference.

There are a few scuffs and scratches on the cabs, but overall I've tried to take good care of these over the decades. So they still look very good.

Most importantly, they sound excellent. They handle a ton of power, and are rated at 200w power handling each. So they are ready for a large amplifier.

But they also do well with lower power units.

I used to drive these with a vintage 35 wpc Harmon Kardon receiver, and they sounded great!

The plastic 1 inch "stand" that was stapled to the bottom from the factory was removed on both speakers. So there are staple holes on the bottom of the cabinets.

But the plastic got brittle with age, so it was best to just remove them. The bass response was noticably improved with them sitting directly on the ground anyway, in my experience.

These speakers were the top of the line in the series, and are definitely one of the 'crown jewel' sets of vintage JBLs.

They are also harder to find in the lighter wood veneer...I had to special order these with that lighter venneer back in the day at my local Hi-Fi shop. The darker oak veneer is more common.

I believe I still have the original manual for these as well, so that will be included unless for some reason I can't locate it.

The covers have a few tiny 'snag' spots from a cat we had in the 90's. But it is not too bad, and no noticable holes or anything in the covers. The speakers still look and sound really nice for their age. And the sound quality still delivers that classic JBL tone with a little extra bass from the 12" woofer and taller 35 inch cabinet!
