Works perfectly. We purchased it new from RND in December 2015. It has been in our smoke free commercial recording studio ever since. We don’t have the I/O for it anymore, and we never really used it anyway, so we are selling it. The unit does have a little rack rash on the top and bottom of the chassis and on the screw holes in the rack ears (see pics) but it is in excellent condition other than that. Free shipping. US buyers only please.
The 5059 sets the standard for rack mountable summing mixers with classic Neve summing and headroom in a compact analog mixer that will take your sound to a whole new level
Ideal for DAW-centric studios needing punchy, wide mixes with that legendary Rupert Neve warmth and presence
5059 has the same custom transformers and Class A circuits that are in the Rupert Neve Designs 5088 console along with the same red, dark-blue and silver knobs, white push button switches and off-white front panel
The Neve Silk circuit saturates the output transformer which varies the harmonic content in a way that equalizers, compressors or even tubes cannot emulate. The Red Silk mode accentuates the high-mid saturation of Rupert’s vintage equipment, while the Blue Silk mode accentuates the low-mid saturation characteristics and is especially useful for “thin-sounding” mixes.
