The Ampeg SCR-DI combines a classic Ampeg preamp and 3-band tone stack with Ultra-Hi and Ultra-Lo switches for quick tonal shaping. The integrated Scrambler overdrive adds footswitchable grind with separate drive and blend controls so you can keep low-end clarity while adding saturation. It routes a processed signal to the XLR and 1/4-inch outputs while the parallel thru stays clean for an amp or tuner. It also includes an aux input and headphone jack with level control for silent practice. The unit runs on a 9V battery or 9-12V DC supply and uses an internal FET preamp stage.
