The Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi adds crossover filtering, a blend control, and a gate to the classic Big Muff circuit for bass. The crossover footswitch engages high-pass and low-pass filters to shape the distorted and dry signals separately. A blend knob mixes the direct signal with the effect, while the gate reduces noise when the distortion is active. It also includes an input pad for active basses and a DI output for direct connection to a console or interface.

Three footswitches handle bypass, crossover on/off, and the effect itself. The layout keeps the familiar sustain, tone, and volume knobs but expands tonal options with the added filtering and mixing features. Buffered bypass keeps signal integrity when the effect is off.
