Selling my pair of Meinl Byzance 14” brilliant heavy hammered hihats in great shape. In my opinion the heavy hammered series has some of the best looking cymbals Meinl makes, but I understand the sound is specific as a result… these things are a little too loud and cutting for what I need. I would imagine they are perfect for stage performances where you need volume, or general heavy metal playing. I don’t gig or play with any bands so they seem a bit overkill for my needs.

It took me a while to source these, so each are from different years/batches (see last picture for serial numbers). The bottom hat has a lot more deep hammering grooves than the top. Each one has full logos with scuffs and micro scratches typical of used cymbals. But both are free of cracks, keyholes, and other issues; I tried to take several photos in different angles to show their condition. I’ll be sad to see them go but ultimately I think I’m just better suited with some different weight hihats.
