Neumann U87i large diaphram microphone 1983 with authentic service details. (the"i" refers to the 3-pin xlr connector)This is a used microphone. I sent it back to NEUMANN recently and they have given it a full service and maintenence check. I got a NEW CAPSULE fitted and there were some minor dents on the housing (created by the mic holder screw style being tightened to much) that have now been corrected along with a NEW SCREW CAP. I am including all the relevant documentation. It will be delivered to the buyer in the NEUMANN POUCH and I will be using the Neumann deliver pack sent back to me. Everything about this sale is authentic.Its history is that it was originally bought at a second hand music shop in Blackrock Co Louth Ireland.The Microphone went on to be used at Lime Street Sound studios Dublin as our flagship Vocal Mic. I now find myself at the end of a career and want this mic to go to a loving owner!!. It has been confirmed by Neumann that its date of Birth is 23.08.1983. Serial Number 41111.
