You are looking at a newer Shure Brothers dynamic microphones from the 2000 era in very nice condition that comes a Shure mic clip and vinyl mic pouch. This is the VP64AL model which is factory set at low impedance (300 OHMS) with a very rugged design and excellent sound quality. It seems this 2nd gen VP64AL mic was first sold around 2006 and is still being sold by Shure Brothers. The 1st gen VP64 actually came out in 1991.

 Pic # 2 shows the data sheet from this mic along with the mics basic characteristics. The data sheet is not included in this sale however. 

 I have listened to this mic closely and the best I can compare the VP64A to would be the desirable Electro Voice 635A model mic. Very similar. Despite the VP64A being set at 300 OHMS it's not bass heavy at all. Much more bright in nature like the 150 OHMS 635A. If you like the E.V 635A then I think you'll be very happy using this Shure model.

 The mic comes in it's original flat black painted scheme and it's very good overall with typical lite wear as seen in the pics provided. Just scratches and heavier scuff marks in the paint. A few small paint chips too. The mic has an aggressive appearance and has a bit of length to it. Appx 10 inches long and the mic utilizes the neodymium magnets so the output is uber strong.   Omni-directional in nature as well.

 The PV64AL makes an ideal piece for general broadcasting and can even be used for singing if need be. The mic has a bright tone with a touch of bass. These mics are built like tanks and properly taken care of there is no reason this mic can't last 100 years. 

  The mic comes with the original Shure mic clip which grips the mic firmly and looks even nicer than the mic. It provides a great degree of tilt as needed and will screw onto any desk or floor stand you have.

 The mic takes a standard XLR mic cable in which to operate though none is included.

 The black vinyl Shure mic pouch is included however and it works great showing just lite exterior wear. It will help protect the mic when not in actual use and the zipper works great.

 If you demand a quality working VP64AL to use daily...look no further.
