This fine instrument is a 5”x12” ten ply maple shell with a ten ply ring on top and a six ply ring on the bottom, 45 degree inside and a round over edge on the outside. It is one of the best 12” drums I have built in a while and sounds and plays amazing. A trick strainer and butt plate, real nice generic lugs and a set of S hoops along with a hand applied distressed ventetian plaster and waxed finish all too make this a really cool instrument.
