This 19th century antique Hopf fiddle is in good enough condition to play, but it could use some love as a restoration project. Because of its flattened bridge and dark tone, this fiddle is perfect for every cross-tuned double stop your bluegrass session needs. It has a rectangular shape not found in modern violins. The visible cracks on the front of the body do not compromise the structure or function. With some cosmetic care and refinishing this piece could really shine. It comes in its original felt-lined case. Please feel free to message me if you need more details.
