1992 Fender Stratocaster – Made in Mexico – Gloss Black – Excellent Condition

Up for sale is a 1992 Fender Stratocaster in classic Gloss Black, made in Mexico. These early MIM Strats have developed a loyal following over the years, and this one is a great player with plenty of vintage character.

This guitar was purchased second-hand, and while I can't verify its complete history, I have not made any modifications or disassembled anything during my ownership. It has been freshly set up by my local guitar shop with 9-gauge strings and plays exceptionally well with comfortable action and excellent intonation. Setup is preference based but this has a very low action.

The guitar is in excellent condition for being over 30 years old. It shows a few minor dings and honest signs of playwear that are consistent with its age, but nothing that affects its playability, structural integrity, or overall performance. The guitar also includes a period-correct Fender molded hard shell case, providing excellent protection while complementing the instrument's vintage era.

While I cannot verify whether a previous owner made any modifications, I have made none during my ownership. The pickups currently installed sound fantastic—hot, articulate, and full of classic Strat character with plenty of output when pushed.

This is an outstanding playing early-'90s MIM Strat that has been well cared for and is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner.
