Long neck banjo E tuning
Lovely hand made neck, carved dragon on the heel and nice pearlescent inlays. One tuner has been replaced by a new one.
The head is brass and looks to be older than the neck, unsure of the year! The bridge has lost its tension screw at some point and been bodged with two random screws, this doesn't effect playability though.
It had a piezo pickup on it but the solder came loose, it used to make it rattle a little so I never soldered it back on but its included if you want to use it electric, wires and pot is still there, just a quick two wire solder and its good to plug in.
I bought this years ago as I was really into Pete Seeger and his unique long neck clawhammer style which this banjo is great for. I now mainly play on a short neck resonator banjo when I play banjo at all and this isn't getting the use it deserves! It's quite nice to put a capo on 3rd fret and use in G tuning too as the inlays all relate to the G tuning. It also has lots of capo railroad spikes for lots of tuning possibilities, a very versatile banjo!
I wouldn't like to post as it comes with a soft case only so I'll say collection from So184EF, although I gig a lot around the country so do ask and maybe I'll be passing by your area.
