I purchased this as a demo about 2 years ago from Sweetwater Sound. It was and still is in excellent to mint condition and works perfectly. I'm only selling it because I recently sold a Friedman Little Sister, with which I used this as a DI and cab sim for silent recording.
This is a super handy 16 ohm reactive load, DI (with cab sim) and attenuator that provides a perfect 16 ohm load and silent recording solution. The Two Notes software (Wall of Sound and/or Genome) is really powerful companion to the built in speaker sim which is more than adequate for most live or recording situations.
The Torpedo Captor 16 ohm will ship in its original box as shown. Please note that the Captor can act as a load/attenuator (no power required), but does require power if you want to use the built in cab sim and XLR DI to the front of house or your DAW interface. It can be powered by any negative center pin 9V to 24V DC (5mA) power supply or 48V phantom power. Both work great!
