This beautiful silver mid 1930's trombone was made by the H.N. White Co. in Cleveland Ohio. Both members of the slide are engraved with matching numbers, 157910. There is a small ding on the bell of the horn, but other than that there is no damage. The inside of the bell is brass plated. The slide moves smoothly. The oil on the slide is very old and should be thoroughly removed and the slide tubes cleaned and polished.
The hard case is vintage correct and is made by Holton. Originally this trombone would have come in a case made by H.N. White Co. The Holton case fits this trombone perfectly and has a storage compartment as can be seen in the first photo. Spring loaded latches work well. I polished the engraved part of the bell to highlight the information there, but thought the rest of the polishing should be left to the judgement of the new owner.
