Used Akai MPX16 Sampler. Originally purchased from a local Music-Go-Round. Used as a sound trigger board for a few live shows before upgrading to an MPC. Works perfectly, although it helps to have samples formatted as 16-bit, mono or stereo WAVs and have a sample rate of 48, 44.1, 32, 22.05, or 11.205 KHz. I definitely recommend reading the brief manual to make sure you get the most out of this machine. When set up correctly, this makes for a great sound trigger board.
