What's neat about this instrument is IF you put the strings of your choice on it (some people prefer bright tones; some people prefer warm tones) (this is easily changed by string preference), a bow of teachers preference (sky's the limit here!), and upgrade the case to your liking (all affordable options), you'll have an instrument that will run with the most expensive of them all!

Made in Europe at their Romanian workshop, this wonderful violin is constructed with a carved solid Carpathian Spruce top and a carved solid Carpathian Maple back and sides.
This combination of tone woods creates a warm vibrant tone, with excellent resonant quality, well-formed low end, and articulate highs.
The Model 60 is finished in a reddish brown varnish for long lasting beauty.
The the tuning pegs, chin rest, and fingerboard are dark ebony, and the Model 55 features a Wittner Ultra tailpiece and seasoned French bridge.
