This is a really nicely preserved pedal. One of the better ones I've played that have the long chip. I highly recommend it if you're chasing those gritty repeats and like to pitch shift with a delay time knob. It's got a very unique sound that cuts through more than the muddiness of a BBD chip.
The long chip itself adds it's character to each delay, gritty warm repeats, just like the BBD chips do/did - an overall "juicy" natural delay echo ballpark.
Every repeat is re-sampled every pass through which leads to the "analogue" style natural decay, and you can add simple caps etc across the feedback/level pots as they carry the actual repeat signal each time. The long chip DD2/3 circuit architecture is based on the DM2, replacing the bucket brigade chip with a digital sampling one.
