The QSC RMX 1450 is a two-channel Class AB power amplifier built around a high-current toroidal transformer, delivering 280W per channel at 8 ohms, 450W per channel at 4 ohms, or up to 1400W bridged mono at 4 ohms — making it a serious workhorse for live sound reinforcement. Each channel accepts balanced XLR, 1/4" TRS, and barrier strip inputs, with outputs via Neutrik Speakon connectors and touch-proof binding posts. Practical features include independent defeatable clip limiters keeping THD below 0.05%, selectable low-frequency filters at 30Hz or 50Hz, and variable-speed cooling fans with rear-to-front airflow. The unit occupies 2 rack spaces and weighs 40 lbs, with a signal-to-noise ratio of -100 dB.
