These cool units offer Tube Mic preamp, Compressor section and three band equalizer for a nice channel strip capable for any task.

On these preamps we do a Nice input stage modification using de-coupling and coupling techniques as well as High performance Burr Brown opamps.
Interstage coupling modifications are performed as well as output stage mods for optimum performance.
The compressor section is modified for a smoother, more musical response.
The EQ section has all of the 33079 and Tl074 opamps removed for more musical and higher headroom Burr Brown amps.
Capacitor coupling is performed in various sections for more musicality.
The tube is replaced with a more complimentary type with the modifications.

Finally the internal power supply is also modified for the lowest possible noise and higher current delivery to accommodate the the new modifications.

The result is a Very musical sounding preamp with great headroom, detail and low end extension.

With the mods they sound considerably more open and a lot warmer as well making them great for just about anything in tracking and have a nice Price-to-Performance ratio.
