I'm selling my piano! This has been my main practice and teaching studio piano -- I'm very, very sad to see it go, but am moving cross-country to a much smaller space and will unfortunately not be able to take it with me. It's a beautiful instrument in amazing condition and is a delight to play. I've had it tuned/maintained every 6 months since owning it.
The Yamaha G Series was the company's precursor to the well-known C series pianos. They are amazing instruments that feature a lot of the same build quality as the more-refined C series, but are much more affordable. Amongst technicians, these pianos are known for their durability and longevity. From my research it appears the G series pianos were exclusively built at Yamaha's factory in Hamamatsu, Japan. The "E" in some Yamaha piano serial numbers sometimes refers to the Kemble piano factory in the UK, which constructed pianos under the Yamaha brand name between 1990-2009, however this doesn't appear to be the case for the G series.
This particular instrument was made for the US market and is NOT a gray market piano. It has been retrofitted with a Disklavier system, but I have never used it. Serious inquiries only.
