Construction & Playability

Neck-thru-body construction with a three-piece mahogany neck and mahogany body with maple cap ensures superior sustain and tonal stability. The thin U-shaped neck contour, combined with the Macassar ebony fingerboard and 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, enables fast, smooth bends and rapid position shifts without sacrificing comfort during extended sessions. The 24.75" scale length keeps the fretboard accessible for high-speed work while maintaining traditional tuning responsiveness.

Electronics & Hardware

The active EMG 81 bridge pickup with ceramic magnets and close-aperture coils delivers aggressive, articulate tones ideal for thrash and extreme metal, while the active EMG 89R neck pickup with push-pull split function provides tonal versatility for different playing dynamics. A Floyd Rose 1000 double-locking tremolo system and Grover tuning machines ensure rock-solid tuning stability even with heavy tremolo use and aggressive bending.
