HEX Guitars is a South Korea-based brand specializing in entry-level to mid-range guitars.

They own their own factory in Indonesia and manufacture their guitars themselves. This sets them apart from brands that typically use OEM manufacturing.

Their passion is so strong that the boss himself is involved in the production process, resulting in guitars of a quality far exceeding what one might expect from their price point.

The B series features models that blend classic character with modern specifications.

This B100 is a modern 4-string JB model.

The body is made of Indonesian Mahogany.

Indonesian Mahogany is highly valued in recent years for its weight and tone, which are well-suited to musical instruments.

The stable supply of such high-quality wood in Indonesia makes it one of the most logical locations for high-quality instrument manufacturing.

The neck is made of Maple.

It features a thin, easy-to-grip C-shape, and the scale length is the most common 34" scale.

The fretboard is also made of maple, and the fretboard radius is a relatively flat 12 inches.

The pickup is the original HEX® Alnico Single Coil.

They use original pickups in many of their models.

This isn't for cost-cutting, but because they have confidence in the quality of their self-designed pickups.

The staff, who understand music and play it regularly, thoroughly research many elements such as magnets, wires, and bobbins before designing.

What you'll notice when you hold it is its high playability.

It's very easy to play and stress-free.

The sound is characterized by a fast attack and clear, well-defined high frequencies.
