I am the original owner and purchased this unit new in 2007 for my personal home studio for single mic voice over work. Unlike many Avalons that have spent years in commercial studios or equipment rental inventories, this unit has seen very light, occasional use in a smoke-free home studio.
The unit was last used in my studio before I reconfigured my recording setup and has been stored since then. To the best of my knowledge, it was operating properly when it was last used last week. It is being sold because I no longer have a need for a dedicated hardware channel strip.

- Excellent cosmetic condition with only minor signs of normal rack wear.
