A late 1967 or early 1968 Fender Bassman Amp. This is a "black line" Silverface. Which is an early silverface that has a blackface circuit. Note the lines in the face plate. This is an AB165 circuit. All original transformers which date to 1967. Fully recapped power supply, original blue molded coupling caps and cathode bypass caps remain. New rectifier diodes. Load resistors replaced to minimize preamp noise as well as fresh flame proof screen resistors for stability. Connections and pots were cleaned and checked. Newer low hours 6l6EH power tubes installed. Preamp tubes are a Vintage RCA in V1 and JJ brand in other preamp positions. A grounded (3 prong) power cable installed for safetly. Sounds great!
