Fender normally equipped this Guitar stock from the factory in '72 with 2 Fender Wide-Range Humbucker Pickups, and did not ever offer a '72 Telecaster Thinline Guitar that has this Nashville Style custom Pickup and switching setup.

This Guitar also includes the following features: a semi-hollow ash body with premium natural gloss finish with "F" shaped sound holes, a 7.25" radius "C" shaped bolt-on maple neck with a 21 fret fingerboard, black dot inlays, and bullet style truss rod adjustment nut; three-bolt "F" stamped neck plate with Micro-Tilt adjustment; Vintage Fender "F" Stamped Tuning Machines; custom made vintage pearl styled Pickguard; fitted with a genuine Hipshot 6-saddle hardtail bridge with chromed steel saddles; fitted with 3 genuine Fender Noiseless "Nashville" Style Pickups, and has been fitted with an Obsidian Wire Custom 7-Way sound for Telecaster Nashville Wiring Harness, which has 7-way switching for Neck + Middle + Bridge Pickup combinations. The Obsidian (solderless) Wiring harness's 5-Way Oak Grigsby Switch allows you to play your neck, middle, and bridge pickups together for the sweetest bell like tones, or even all three pickups together, together with using a switch that is built into the tone control by use of its push/pull pot function, so no extra mods are required to your guitar.  The 7-way sound is achieved using the 5-way switch and Push/Pull Tone Pot Switching as follows:  PUSH/PULL DOWN: - Pos 1 (Bridge); Pos 2 (Bridge & Middle); Pos 3 (Middle); Pos 4 (Neck & Middle); Pos 5 (Neck)---PUSH/PULL UP: Pos 1 (Bridge+Neck); Pos 2 (Bridge& Middle+Neck); Pos 3 (Middle + Neck); Pos 4 (Neck & Middle), Pos 5 (Neck).
