New Floor Display Ludwig LB417 Black Beauty 6.5" x 14" Snare Drum. We did not renew our Ludwig dealership this year, therefore we are looking to move through our existing stock. That's why the aggressive pricing. This is a new snare drum that will ship in its factory box, it was displayed on our showroom floor. It shows very little to no signs of use, only very minor stick marks on the batter head.

Black Beauty
One of the primary reasons Ludwig is "The Most Famous Name On Drums" is the legendary Black Beauty Snare Drum. The drum is constructed of a single sheet of brass that is hydroformed into a seamless beaded shell. However, due to their truly unique and difficult manufacturing process, only a very limited number of Black Beauties are available each year from Ludwig USA.
A true American original, the Black Beauty provides a warm, round metallic tone that is often imitated, but never duplicated.
