Fender Vintera 50's Strat in Fiesta Red

I purchased this instrument on Reverb and have owned it a few years I believe.

The original owner said the neck was replaced by fender under warranty, so I guess there was a problem with the original neck from the factory.

I also had the first potentiometer and knob removed so there is just a master volume and master tone. I always had an Issue hitting the first knob while strumming, so I do this on the strats I own. I'll try to include the original Potentiometer of I can find it.

There are a couple scratches on the back, with one going from the spring cavity to the bottom of the body. Also a couple to the side of the spring cavity cover. They are not deep, and are only in the clear coat.

This guitar seems fairly light. I'd guess under 7.5 lbs.

This guitar has a great sound with the Tex-Mex pickups IMO, with more output than the original 50s style pickups. I have a set of these in a Japanese Strat I own, and loved them. So I bought a set for this guy.

The playability is also good on this guitar, with a thicker V neck that's not too thick lick some vintage necks. I think it really hits a sweet spot between enough meat, and not too much meat feel wise.

I'm including a generic gig bag since it didn't come with case or bag when I bought it.

It's not great, but it will provide some protection.

I will pack the guitar very well though, and make sure it's well protected from any less than careful delivery people.

I'm getting older, and my hands can't play as long...so I'm slowly selling different guitars to reduce numbers.

I enjoyed this one and looking at it's incredible color for a while, so I'm happy if it goes to someone who will play it a lot more than I can.
