Fully functional, original internals, UNSERVICED.

My first analog synth! Acquired this Yamaha CS-15 used from the original owner about 15 years ago, and it still sounds amazing. Everything works as expected; the unit is fully functional. Keyboard is in great shape, keys are nice and springy. Please see below for "vintage" flaws:

  • Noisy pots, some worse than others. The volume knob and brilliance fader are the main culprits.
  • Small crack in plastic side panel on right side of synth (see photo with yellow circle). Does not affect playability or transportation of unit at all - this thing is sturdy.
  • Portamento fader can come off (but is NOT broken)
  • Brilliance fader slightly bent (the original owner road this thing too hard...)
  • Various scuffs here and there

*I am listing this for local pickup (Pittsburgh) only right now, but plan to get it ready for shipment over the summer (I worked in a warehouse for 10 years, so I know how to pack sh*t). If you're a serious buyer and you need it shipped soon, just message me.
