The Alesis Ineko: An OverviewReleased in the early 2000s, the Ineko was designed to be a highly accessible, "no-menu" box for musicians and DJs. While it lacks MIDI control and the preset-saving capabilities of its rackmount sibling, it shares the exact same core digital sound algorithms.

The Effects: Packs 48 effects spanning 144 adjustable parameters. It covers standard bread-and-butter reverbs, delays, and choruses, as well as sound-mangling tools like decimators, ring modulators, vocoders, and bit-crushers.The Interface: Instead of complex screens, the top plate features a printed grid. Users select an effect with dedicated buttons and use 3 knobs for real-time parameter tweaking.Inputs/Outputs:

Features standard 1/4" unbalanced stereo ins and outs, allowing it to handle synthesizers, drum machines, and even instruments like guitars.

Relationship to the ModFX Line and the AkiraThe Ineko essentially compiles several popular, individual effects from the short-lived Alesis ModFX series (such as the Bitrman and Philtre) into one single, portable unit.
