The Yamaha XP125T-X Two-Zone 12" Electronic TCS Tom Pad with Wood Shell is an electronic tom drum designed for Yamaha's DTX series of electronic drum kits. The pad features a birch-wrapped shell with a real wood finish that provides the look of a real acoustic drum.

This model features a textured cellular silicone (TCS) head that offers a natural-feeling response and realistic stick rebound for enhanced playability while still allowing for quiet practice sessions. The pad offers a two-zone response, allowing a player to trigger two different sounds from the drum module (available separately) using the head and rim of the tom for added musicality.

The XP125T-X is compatible with the DTX-PRO and DTX-PROX drum modules. Two 1/4" connection cables are supplied for connection to the module, the second cable is a back-up cable and not needed for connection. A tom module mount with wing nut is also suppled, allowing you to mount the pad to a rack system or standard tom pad.
