This 2014 Martin Custom Shop D-28 shares the same specs that we all love from a regular D-28 plus a few other nice features being a Custom Shop Martin.
This D-28 features an Italian Alpine Spruce top with aging-toner, premium East Indian Rosewood back and sides, Hide Glue construction and 5/16" scalloped bracing giving it a really dynamic and vibrant tone. Best of all, the sound of the guitar is perfectly balanced which makes it perfect for recording or live sessions.
The nut and saddle are bone, the bridge and fretboard are black Ebony, and the tuners are Grover Sta-Tite with 18:1 ratio.
It also has Antique White Binding like a D-35 to distinguish it from other D-28s.
The guitar has some swirl marks here and there from normal use and cleaning, and some very light pressure marks on the top near the binding due to the case.
The guitar comes with its original hardshell case with the classic green interior.
