This Oscar Schmidt OM40 is a traditional F-style mandolin finished in a classic tobacco sunburst. The OM40 has long been one of Oscar Schmidt's flagship mandolin models, offering the ornate appearance and projection of a bluegrass-style F-body at an affordable price point.

The instrument features a select spruce top paired with maple back and sides for crisp articulation and excellent note separation. Gold hardware, decorative headstock inlay, bound body construction, and pearloid tuner buttons give the instrument an upscale appearance.
