Pearl President 5x14 in shiny red sparkle finish.
I take older drums like MIJ drums and rehab/hot rod them in various ways to give them a new lease on life. This drum was fully disassembled, all hardware soaked and polished, shell buffed to a super high polish, lugs packed to eliminate spring hum, and bearing edges/snare beds recut to very tight tolerances. Snare interior was polished with multi coats of Lindseed oil.
Drum was reassembled with Super Hoops, Inde throw off, Attack Heads, and Puresound wires. The result: a killer snare drum. The result is a warm, sensitive, full sounding drum with a wide tuning range.
