The 61-key version uses Arturia's Pro-Feel semi-weighted keybed — the same action found in the MatrixBrute and MiniBrute 2 — with velocity sensitivity and aftertouch for genuinely expressive playing. Sixteen RGB-backlit touch and pressure-sensitive pads, nine faders, and nine rotary encoders give deep hands-on control over DAWs, plug-ins, and virtual instruments, with ten included magnetic overlays for quick switching between popular DAW layouts. Beyond standard MIDI, the KeyLab MkII extends into modular territory with 4 CV/gate outputs and a CV input for controlling Eurorack gear and vintage analog synths directly from the keyboard. The aluminum chassis with real wood side panels gives it genuine heft and a premium feel, and the bundled software — Analog Lab with thousands of preset sounds, Ableton Live Lite, and Piano V — adds real value out of the box.
