The Soldano Astroverb (often known as the Astroverb 16) is a compact, 16-watt single-channel all-tube amplifier head. Known for its punchy "Greasy EL84 tone" and SLO-derived crunch, it features an all-tube 6-spring Accutronics reverb, built-in a rugged, highly portable format perfect for studio use and small venues.
The Astroverb's circuit is based on the iconic Soldano Super Lead Overdrive (SLO) crunch channel. Users consistently agree that it excels at classic rock, blues, and 80s hard rock gain. It has a very touch-sensitive response, meaning you can clean up the signal beautifully simply by rolling back your guitar's volume knob. The lush, all-tube 3-spring reverb ranges from a subtle slap-back to deep surf tones.
