This item doesn't get used anymore as I've upgraded. It will need the software installed to have the faders be mapped (I never got it figured out, but my friend who sold me the keyboard it worked fine for him on Windows). The keys and wheels are in perfect working order. No visible chips or damage (will be dusted before shipped). It works perfectly as a basic midi controller for your sequencing needs.
