I originally purchased this amp in 2022 from Musicians Friend.
I subsequently had it modded with the following aspects by an amp tech in Reno, Nevada:
6550 power tubes
25ma, 530 screen voltage
V1 SHARED CATHODE
Bright CAP:1000pf
I purchased the 6550s here on Reverb for $225.
I still have the brand new EL 34’s originally stock in the Marshall (see photo). I’d be willing to throw those in; but there will be no haggling on the price. It will be firm. Without these tubes, I am open to offers.
I had the tube retainers removed at the same time; I don’t know where they are. Never needed them.
The screen that comes stock on the back cover is also missing.
This is a great amp; and I’ve always been happy with it. Upgrading to a higher power amp; so this one needs to go.
