Offered: a stylish and characterful Recording King RKH-05 from the popular Dirty 30’s series. This 5-string resonator banjo combines a classic vintage look with clear, powerful projection and is excellent for bluegrass, folk, country and old-time music.
The RKH-05 is built as a closed-back resonator banjo, which provides extra volume, projection and a full, direct tone. The Remo Recording King head skin in combination with the 24-hole tone ring and 24 hooks delivers a bright response and the characteristic sparkling banjo sound Recording King is known for.
The resonator and multi-ply maple rim contribute to a lively sound with plenty of definition, while the maple neck provides stability and comfortable playability. Thanks to the adjustable 2-way truss rod, the neck setup can be precisely tuned to personal playing preferences.
The rosewood fretboard with 22 frets and white position markers offers a classic look and pleasant playing feel. In addition, the banjo is equipped with closed geared tuners with ivory-like buttons for stable tuning, a maple/ebony bridge and a traditional Presto-style tailpiece. The nickel hardware completes the vintage aesthetic.
The sunburst finish of the resonator adds an authentic, timeless look to this banjo.
