Keith Moon and Zak Starkey's, THE WHO Premier 23" Professional Copper Timpani 1960's-1970's - SIGNED
This Premier 23" Professional Copper Pedal Timpani was owned and used by original WHO drummer, Keith Moon as well as his eventual successor Zak Starkey. Keith Moon was of course, the original drummer with The WHO until his passing in 1978. Starkey Joined the band in 1996. This is an exceptionally significant piece of the band's history with direct ties to two generations of The WHO drummers.
Moon played the drum in performances with the WHO circa 1974-1978. After Moon passed the drum was given given to Zak Starkey. Zak played the tympani in live performances with The WHO on the band's 1996–1997 Quadrophenia Tour.
Zak Starkey signed the head, designating the years of both his and Keith Moon's prior use with The WHO.
The WHO logo bass drum head in the first photo is not included.
