Peavey Classic 60/60

Recently serviced and retubed Peavey Classic Series 60/60 stereo tube power amplifier in perfect working order.

This amplifier was professionally serviced and thoroughly tested on June 30, 2026. The technician cleaned the contacts and controls, addressed questionable solder joints on the board, installed new tubes, checked the operating voltages, and verified proper operation of both channels.

Both channels tested evenly and are producing the expected output. The dated service receipt and technician’s test notes are included and shown in the photos. I also have a current video demonstrating the amplifier operating properly.

This is a USA-made stereo tube rack power amplifier providing 60 watts per channel. It includes independent sensitivity and line-output controls for each channel, balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4-inch inputs, line outputs, transformer-balanced XLR direct outputs, and dedicated 4-, 8-, and 16-ohm speaker connections.

It is an excellent power section for vintage rack preamps, modern modelers, stereo effects systems, wet/dry rigs, or any setup requiring a powerful stereo tube amplifier.

I am selling because I recently reconfigured my rig and no longer need a stereo tube power amplifier. The Peavey is fully operational and ready to install and use.

The exterior has normal surface scratches and rack wear consistent with a vintage piece of professional equipment. These marks are cosmetic only and do not affect its performance, operation, or structural integrity. There are no broken controls, major dents, missing parts, or known electrical issues. The amplifier measures approximately 19 inches wide, 5.25 inches high, and 8 inches deep and weighs approximately 21 pounds. It occupies 3U of standard rack space.

Please note that this is a dedicated power amplifier and requires a suitable preamp, modeler, mixer, or other line-level source. Speaker cabinets must be connected using the appropriate impedance outputs.
