Up for sale is a beautiful Gibson Firebird V in Alpine White from the mid-2000s era (approximately 2005–2009).
This is a fantastic player’s Firebird that delivers the classic tone these guitars are known for. The original pickups have been replaced with a set of Seymour Duncan Vintage Firebird pickups and upgraded with Orange Drop capacitors, resulting in the articulate, punchy, vintage Firebird sound heard on countless classic recordings.
If you’re chasing the tone of Johnny Winter’s Firebird, this guitar gets remarkably close.
The neck is straight, stable, and comfortable to play. Electronics function perfectly, frets have plenty of life remaining, and the guitar is ready for stage, studio, or collection use.
The Alpine White finish has naturally aged over the years, developing the creamy vintage appearance that many players prefer over a bright modern white finish.

Condition
Overall excellent condition for its age.
The guitar shows normal signs of use, including minor dings, scratches, and finish wear consistent with a well-cared-for instrument that has been played over the years. There is a larger finish chip on the body edge that has been photographed clearly. Please review all photos carefully.
The serial number is no longer visible due to finish aging and buildup in the serial number area. This is not uncommon on older Alpine White Gibson instruments. The guitar is being represented as a mid-2000s Gibson Firebird V based on its features, construction, hardware, and ownership history.
The neck is solid, the truss rod functions properly, and the electronics operate as they should.
Tone
The Seymour Duncan Vintage Firebird pickups paired with the Orange Drop capacitors produce the bright, clear, cutting tone that made the Firebird famous. Excellent note separation, strong attack, and plenty of sustain. A great guitar for blues, classic rock, southern rock, slide guitar, and anything requiring a distinctive vintage Gibson voice.
Finish Color Note: Some photographs may show a slight reddish or pinkish tint on portions of the guitar. This is caused by reflections from the red Firebird logo, surrounding objects, lighting conditions, and the case interior. In person, the finish is an aged Alpine White that has naturally mellowed to a cream/ivory color and does not exhibit a red or pink finish discoloration. The photos accurately represent the guitar’s overall condition and appearance.
