This is a Fender Japan Mustang “KC-MG SBL.”
Based on the serial number, it was made in 2012.

This model was produced as a limited-edition Nirvana / Kurt Cobain signature model, created as a tribute to Kurt Cobain’s famous “Sky-Stang.” It comes in the highly popular Sonic Blue finish.

This particular guitar has been modified closer to Kurt’s specs and has been professionally set up by a repair technician.

Pickup:
The bridge pickup has been replaced with a brand-new Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB in White.

Switches:
The switches have been replaced with brand-new white Allparts switches.

Neck pickup cover:
The neck pickup cover has been replaced with a new one.
The neck pickup itself is original.

It has been professionally adjusted and set up by a repair technician.

Condition

Although this guitar is 14 years old, there are no major noticeable scratches. However, there are some small scratches on the headstock. There are also some small dings and scuffs overall.

The guitar has been fully adjusted and is in good playing condition.
