This outstanding example of the original LP Djembe has been lovingly played and carefully maintained in like-new condition, always stored in the LP soft case in climate-controlled environments. The original natural head (possibly goatskin) shows no damage and very little wear from playing. With a professional factory finish like fine furniture, this instrument looks as great as it sounds. Introduced in the 1990s, the LP Djembe of this size and style is no longer available from Latin Percussion; it has been deleted from their catalog, thus adding to the rarity of this superb drum.

This particular drum being offered for sale was purchased new by the seller (a former professional drummer, now retired) and comes with the original LP soft case, black Meinl Congastand for seated player, 1/2 inch tuning wrench, and strap system for mounting on a separate stand (stand not included), the latter never having been used.

This is a wonderful instrument. It needs a good new home.
