I have a 2025 Paul Reed Smith McCarty 594 here with its paperwork and original hard shell case. This guitar is stock with the exception of Bare Knuckle Abraxas pickups. I do not have the originals.

The Bare Knuckle set is one of the best I've ever heard. These are handwired pickups made in the UK. This set is inspired by the 1970s tone of Carlos Santana. Consider it a hot PAF that has all the sparkle, clarity, and dynamics of a PAF, but somehow has a longer singing sustain. They're fantastic pickups.

Conditionally, this guitar looks very nice.

The body top shows a light sheen of guitar pick strumming below the two pickups. Not of the intensity that busts up the finish. More so it's a subtle little thing that you see if you examine the guitar closely, that there's a little bit of guitar pick strumming there. Below the bridge pickup I see a few minute surface indentations that do not break the finish, likely from guitar pick body contact as well. Very shallow and minor. Beyond that, any signs of superficial swirling will be absolutely minimal on the body top. The hardware and the lacquer finish look exquisitely clean throughout.

The body sides/edges look great, showing no describable marks or playwear. There will be just faint superficial signs of use only.

The body back shows one round surface indentation bump about 2 mm in size. I see about a handful of small surface level scratches that don't break through the finish. I did not find any clustering or build up of any pattern playwear. More so just a tiny scattering in a couple places, but no centralized playwear. Nothing I would constitute as buckle rash or worming. The bulk of the body back looks very nice.

The neck shaft contour looks and feels excellent. I found a small mark about 2 or 3 mm in size on the left shoulder of the headstock that likely came from a guitar hanger. Those have a tendency to rub a bit on the soft lacquer finish. But I didn't find any major unsightly marks. The top, back, and upper headstock all look great. The rosewood headstock veneer shows just superficial traces of use consistent with changing strings. The frets are tall and full, showing no pits or divots. The setup plays nicely. The electronics are installed correctly and are working perfectly. The coil tap function is intact. The hard shell case is in excellent condition.

This one rates either a 9.1 or a 9.2 on the 10 point scale. Not on the higher most side of excellent, as I found a few small marks and minimal signs of surface playwear. I found no high intensity playwear of any sort, nor anything ugly or unsightly. The overall appearance of the guitar is definitely excellent. The finish and hardware look lustrous and like new. It is structurally and sonically sound and plays and sounds great.

The neck feels similar to a modern '58 reissue Gibson LP, it seems like the body is a little thicker than a the Custom 24 series. The bridge setup enhances the tone through lightweight aluminum and brass overtones. It looks really classy and gives the tone better sustain and a singing almost airy clarity to it. The 594 is i would say a more "retro" influenced version of a custom 24 which tonally are bliss. It's a balanced tone in terms of it's EQ of treble, bass and mids, where it is unique is in the subtle detail and complexity of the tone. That is what sets Any truly great guitar apart. And in my opinion that is achieved through the tonewoods, not the electronics. And this is a hallmark of Core USA made Paul Reed Smith guitars.

Note that this listing may come down at anytime as I am a multi-platform seller and do sell locally and on my own Site as well in an effort to keep sales fluid. State sales tax will be charged on Reverb sales when applicable, so factor that in to your purchase.

I will immaculately pack it as well. I use quality shipping boxes, ample tape on all sides. And sufficient bubble wrap filler and bracing inside the box. And always Marked/denoted as fragile. I generally detune guitars 1/2 half step prior to shipment as well if needed.

Thank you for reading and considering!
