This is a near-mint-condition Squier Classic Vibe 70s Telecaster Thinline, w/ a professionally installed Seymour Duncan noiseless "Phat Cat" Silencer P-90 neck pickup.
Was JUST professionally set up with a set of .009s. Comes with Tweed HSC (and the original neck humbucker that was replaced).
The noiseless Duncan P-90 sounds fantastic in the neck position and complements the humbucker in the bridge perfectly. With this combo, the guitar became instantly WAY more versatile. You can get more of a Tele-like sound out of it using the neck pick-up alone, OR you can get that thick, aggressive P-90 growl when pushed into overdrive. This thing can sound like a Tele, a Jazzmaster, or even a semi-hollowbody Gibson like an ES-335.
If you're looking for an affordable guitar that can do a lot of different things, grab this up!
As to the cost: These things are about $600 after tax w/ out a case. The Duncan pick-up and case alone are worth over $250, so this beauty's a steal!
