Up for sale is a beautiful, player-conditioned Bach Stradivarius Bb trumpet manufactured in Elkhart, Indiana, circa 1983 (Serial Number: 244082). This instrument comes from a highly regarded production era known for exceptional craftsmanship, excellent projection, and a rich, resonant tone.
Condition Details:
* Valves & Slides: The valves show minor, normal cosmetic wear for a vintage horn but have excellent actionthey are smooth, fast, and snappy with solid compression. All slides move freely.
* Body & Finish: The silver-plate finish is in great shape overall, showing only typical light surface wear and minor cleaning scratches from careful use over the years. Recently fully serviced, including professional internal cleaning, inspection, replacement of normal wear parts, relubrication, and hand polishing.Shows only typical silver wear on the valve casing at the natural contact point where fingers wrap, as well as some additional wear from a leather valve wrap that everyone thought was super cool to use in the 80s. The rest of the plating is clean and bright. Slides move freely, and there are no structural or mechanical issues.
* Dents/Dings: There is one very small, minor dent in the bell flare (pictured) which is purely cosmetic and does not affect the playability or incredible sound of this horn.
* Includes: Original Bach hard case (structurally sound, handle needs replacing)
