Mad Professor Snow White Auto Wah (SWAW) is a highly responsive, touch-sensitive envelope filter based on a classic 1991 Bjorn Juhl (BJF) rack-mount remote wah circuit.
Renowned for lightning-fast tracking, it captures the vocal-like sweep and dynamics of a traditional, foot-operated Wah pedal without requiring physical movement.
The pedal offers studio-grade control over your filtering with four highly interactive knobs:
- Sensitivity: Sets the trigger level of the filter to match your instrument's output and your specific picking dynamics.
- Bias: Controls the resonant frequency of the filter. When Sensitivity is rolled off entirely, this can also be used as a fixed or sweepable filter.
- Resonance: Adjusts the sharpness (Q-factor) of the filter, taking you from a smooth, subtle sweep to a highly pronounced, punchy "quack".
- Decay: Controls how fast the filter frequency falls back to its resting point.
Faster decays create a percussive wah effect on every note, while slower decays allow for longer, fluid sweeps.
- Condition: Purchased, Added Velcro, & Stored in its Box.
